City is well

Manchester City was scared against Tottenham on Sunday at the 11th day of the Premier League but finally won thanks to a goal from Edin Dzeko late in the game (2-1). Success that allows Citizens to stay in contact with United. And forget their woes in the Champions League ...

Space for a moment, Roberto Mancini may be imagined jostled by the press and fans on Sunday afternoon after a shock to the 11th day of the Premier League against Tottenham. The tabloids would certainly not fail to inflate the rumor Pep Guardiola, while his friend Txiki Begiristain is now sporting director of City. But they are virtually eliminated from the race for the knockout stages of the Champions League after a fourth game without a win Tuesday against Ajax (1-1), the Citizens are far from being in a dire situation in championship (unlike Arsenal for example). They cling to the leader and Manchester United, two lengths ahead after successfully ripped face Spurs (2-1).

However, this Sunday at the Etihad Stadium, Vincent Kompany and his teammates were not reassured in the game, so flamboyant last season. But, at least, their perseverance - which allowed them to grab the title in extra time of the final lift in the spring - has been rewarded. Mancini thank cons including a favorable enabling Yaya Toure Sergio Aguero to equalize at the hour of game (66th, 1-1). Drafts - especially in the last pass - since the start of the year, Citizens finally took London failing defense late in the game.
